104 Holm House | Double Room with Seaview Bath

Not sure we would book again as the room lacks comfort. Positive: Nice clean room with lovely view of the sea. Easy code access to hotel as there are no staff on the property. Negative: Despite it being a double room, there was only one chair to sit on. Not ideal for a couple in our 70’s The tv was positioned on a wall to the right of the bed so one of us had to sit on the side edge of the bed with no back support , very uncomfortable.

Disappointed Positive: It was clean and tidy. Negative: The entry to the room was a great idea but it was a circular door handle right next to the door architrave! You got hurt just getting into the room and it's clearly happened before because the paint was chipped. The water pipes to the bath moved through about 30°. Unless there is a wonderful view don't put the bath in the bedroom.

Positive: The bath located at the end of the bed overlooking the garden and the view to the Severn estuary beyond. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. We popped in just for a dessert and drink and were really impressed. Negative: The bathroom had no soap and the shower had no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. Luckily we had some in the car!

Would happily stay here again. Positive: Beautifully clean room and comfortable bed. Attractive building and a short walk to the sea. Lovely cafes just down the road. Negative: The door was difficult to open - the code worked but the door was sticking. We worked it out in the end - pull it quickly towards you before pushing it!
