A great stay in an upmarket apartment. Thank you. Positive: Fantastic apartment and fully equipped. Negative: There wasn’t a safe in the apartment every thing was exceptional.

Positive: The room was exceptional and great value. Negative: The restaurant wasn't open on the days we stayed (Mon and Tues). We would have liked to have tried it.

Disappointed with refurb and no answers to my messages Positive: The location was perfect for walking along Penarth Pier and into town. Negative: Outside areas need management as broken items, cans of coke, spare umbrella stands, windows are left laying around. Loose handle on bathroom door in Room 203. No hot water in shower in Room 103. Kept awake all Saturday night as broken gazebo roof in garden was banging in the wind! Where was the “Elegant private residents lounge” surely not the seating in the lobby, outside the restaurant, which was actually occupied by two ladies having drinks, who weren’t even staying at Holm House?

Really homely Holm House Positive: We stayed in room 203 Holm House for 3 nights. It was perfect for us. The separate sleeping and living areas meant we had lots of space to relax. The balcony was great. Just big enough to sit out with a pre dinner drink and with a lovely view of the garden and the sea. The kitchenette was very well equipped and although we only used the kettle and coffee machine, the fridge was a real boon for keeping our bottles of water, fresh milk and ouzo :-) cold. The location was perfect for our short stay as we were able to walk down to the Esplanade for our breakfasts and evening meals (we chose Sids, Romeos and Chef G). Altogether we had a very relaxing, trouble free stay and would highly recommend 203 Holm House. Negative: There was nothing to dislike or complain about for our stay.
