201 Holm House | Top-Floor Seaview Retreat

Needs a black out blind Positive: I booked for my partners birthday treat and thrilled that it had a pool/spa & roll top bath however and a lovely area but when we arrived there were no staff to check us in, we finally sorted check in out and went up to the room , called the spa to see if we had to book or just come down to be told that it closes at 5pm and that they offered guests 10% discount when I thought the pool was inclusive with the stay?? Then with my dissatisfaction I thought well I can draw a bath and relax that way until it was full of hair so I cleaned it out myself with cleaner and soo he provided in room and proceeded to fill with water when I realise that the bath is emptying because the bath plug was broken and would not retain water. So the very reasons I had chosen this place to stay turned out to be a disaster. The shower would suffice until upon entering this, the shower tray was not draining the water and there were no shelves etc to hold your toiletries only remnants of something with visible Rawlplugs. Also did not understand the dead Christmas tree branches in a vase on the bedside cabinet, maybe a lamp would be of better use. I wouldn’t recommend and definitely would not return. Negative: No one to check you in, dirty in places, broken bath/ shower, the uncertainty of knowing if you were able to use the facilities of the restaurant/ garden/ spa.
